II International Seminar «Innovation in Education: Visible Thinking, Teaching and Learning for Life»

During the II Seminar on Innovation in Education, teachers and managers were introduced to Visible Thinking and Thinking Routines and how these allow to promote, value and make visible critical thinking in students, in order to achieve the essential learning to perform successfully in the XXI century.

Two world recognized experts were the main speakers at the Seminar:

Ron Ritchhart, Senior Research Associate and Principal Investigator of Project Zero, Harvard University, USA, for over 26 years; author and co-author of successful books; and renowned international speaker. During his career he has focused his work on the development of school and classroom culture as the main vehicles for developing students as thinkers and learners. Thus, his research focuses primarily on understanding how to develop, nurture and sustain reflective learning environments for both students and teachers.

Mark Church, Co-Author of the book «The Power of Making Thinking Visible», consultant to the Project Zero initiatives at Harvard University, USA, Making Thinking Visible and Cultures of Thinking, based on his own classroom teaching experience and the insights he has gained over several years working with educators in a wide variety of contexts.
