With exhibitors such as John Beattie from Arsenal Football Club, Ricardo Trade the CEO of FIFA Brazil, Sebastián Moreno from the ANFP representing Chilean soccer and with the support of the Center for Sporting Studies (CIES), the Department of Safe Stadiums organized the “International Seminar on Stadium Experiences” on January 14 in the event center of Espacio Bunker.
The purpose of the seminar was to unite all of the parties involved in Chilean football and discuss how to improve the environment, the central theme of which was that of discussing stadium experiences to the complete satisfaction of fans attending soccer matches in Chile and so as to attract new ones.
The international speaker John Beattie described his work managing the changes at the Arsenal Football Club stadium, with details of its infrastructure as well as overall experiences in stadiums in the UK.
Ricardo Trade, who was World CEO for Brazil 2014, spoke of such issues as private security within the context of football.
The activity ended with an open forum involving the participation of Moreno, Lladser , Beattie and Trade.
This event attracted a large number of representatives from the world of soccer, managers of clubs, former players, sponsors, government authorities, the academic world, the Uniformed Police of Chile and female footballers, among others. What is more, the activity was streamed by five cities in the country enabling them to watch these events locally and live. The cities were: Iquique, Antofagasta, La Serena, Concepción and Valdivia.
