The Program Salud más Desarrollo, jointly with FISA and CORFO support, called international experts to share their experience on the implementation of strategies for the development of information and interoperation technologies in a successful seminar with the participation of health professionals and students.
In this occasion, proposals from three countries leader in technology use were presented: France, Spain, and Canada, together with the challenges these leaders and their teams had to face.
For instance, Canadian Shelagh Maloney presented the strategy of Canada Health Infoways, the institution in charge of digital health in the country, and responded to questions from a very interested public.
The Canadian initiative, through collaboration and comprehensive strategies, seeks to grant better quality of life to the population and, above all, to improve access to services and productivity with diagnosis through digital images. Access to information and the latter quality are based on 95% of patients feeling more secure in their health care.
