3GF LAC is the second of a series of regional conferences that 3GF is organizing in Africa, Asia and Latin America throughout 2015. By engaging high-level partners from different regions of the world, and from both public and private spheres, 3GF seeks to show that green solutions are at hand - scalable to the global level and spurring economic growth The Latin American Regional Green Growth Forum was held in Santiago de Chile on June 18th and 19th, 2015 and was attended by the President of Chile, Michelle Bachelet, and more than 180 delegates, including ministers and vice-ministers from the region, policy-makers, international financial and environmental experts, and leaders from the private sector. The Forum was jointly organized by the Government of Chile, the Government of Denmark and the Inter-American Development Bank, IDB, under the umbrella of the Global Green Growth Forum (3GF), which convenes governments, businesses, investors and international organizations to act together for inclusive green growth. During the conference participants shared visions and aspirations, novel evidence and engage in the concrete action-oriented partnership sessions in the areas of land use and land restoration, sustainable water management and energy. MundoChile had the honor of being the official providers of simultaneous interpretation services for President Bachelet and all the speakers who participated in this unique and important gathering.
