The most important Latin America Smart Cities event took place in our capital city last September 03 at Hotel Intercontinental, organized by Fundación País Digital. Prestigious national and international experts, authorities, academicians, civil organization and corporate representatives participated in the 2nd Summit Smart Cities Chile to discuss on the policies necessary to build smart cities that improve all their inhabitants’ quality of life. The purpose of this meeting was generating a space to share and debate on experiences and analyzing information contributed by the public and private sectors in order to address matters related to initiatives and advancements regarding smart cities in our country. Successful quality of life, society, mobility, environment, economy, energy, urban development, and electronic government cases in Chile and the world were reported. The invitation was to build together the cities where we would like to live in future.
