Due to its success and excellent attendance year after year, on June 26th, 2013, Caja Los Andes held the 4th annual International ENANDES Congress, whose central focus was “Gross Domestic Happiness: GDH”, a concept centered on the conviction that the wellbeing of a country and its progress towards development can and must be measured beyond the traditional indicators. Unlike the Gross Domestic Product (GDP), Gross Domestic Happiness does not have a quantitative definition; on the contrary, it measures the happiness and wellbeing of each of the inhabitants of a country, which is absolutely indispensable. The happiness of our country is translated not only into numbers and statistics, but also into something deeper: the wellbeing of each of its workers. Aware of this reality, Caja Los Andes laid this very important subject open to discussion in the 4th version of this meeting, which was attended by world-renowned lecturers, who presented their viewpoints on the subject, which is indispensable for the health, profitability and sustainable growth of Chile.
