Last May 15 and 16, Telefónica Leadership Conference was held in Mendoza, Argentina. This is an event that gathers CEOs and CIOs from the 500 most important companies in the world that work with Telefónica in order to discuss technology. As the event documentation and publicity say, it is: “A Meeting of Leaders and Technology”. Different representatives from the technology, politics, economy, and culture sectors participated in the conference. Among the main speakers was former Brazil President, Luiz Inácio Lula Da Silva who, after telling is life story, assured that the basis for a country growth is education which, together with innovation, are key aspects for individuals. Juan José Campanella, motion pictures director, Karla Wheelock, inspiring mountain climber, and Francisco Pérez, Governor of the Mendoza Province also participated in the event, among other.
