The Latin America and Caribbean – European Union Business Summit (currently CELAC – EU, earlier ALC – EU) will gather around 300 business persons from both regions around an agenda whose purpose is to advance in the strengthening of business relations and bi-regional investments, as well as in the construction of a strategic alliance for the sustainable development of our countries and people. In a moment when economic and financial conditions are uncertain in the European region, Latin America and the Caribbean could become a great political, economic, physical, and energy integration pole, seeking together to overcome the challenges of development, growth, and poverty eradication by taking advantage of the world business outlook, considering that the European Union is Latin America and the Caribbean second business partner and main investor.
