38th Meeting of the Board of Directors of the Pan-American Commission for Technical Standards – COPANT

Chile, with the support of the Instituto Nacional de Normalización (INN) hosted the 38^th Meeting of the Board of Directors of the Pan-American Commission for Technical Standards – COPANT, chaired by the Executive Director of INN, Sergio Toro.

Delegates from standards agencies in different countries got together in Santiago, Chile last November 13 and 14. Among the directors and members of COPANT were the following: Mkabi Walcott representing SCC from Canada, Joe Tretler from ANSI in the USA, Verne Emmanuel from SLBS in Santa Lucía, Roberto Montoya and Mónica Vivas representing ICONTEC from Colombia, Mario William Esper and Thalita Romano from ABNT in Brazil, Nicolas Eliçabe representing IRAM in Argentina and, as hosts, Claudia Cerda and Sergio Toro were the representatives of INN Chile within the framework of the 2019 General Assembly of the Pan-American Commission for Technical Standards - COPANT.

MundoChile was also present with their interpreters, simultaneously translating English to Spanish and Portuguese to Spanish throughout the whole of the meeting of the COPANT as well as during its parallel events, and we are proud to say that INN and its guests were very satisfied with the professional services provided by our firm.
