2nd LatAm IoT & Tech Forum

The Hotel W in Santiago, Chile hosted the LatAm IoT & Tech Forum 2018 11-12 July. The event brought together the leading stakeholders at the forefront of the digital transformation of the industry for two days to explore the future, trends, challenges and opportunities in the public and private sectors and to analyze the impact of new technologies on related industries such as mining, energy, telecommunications, e-commerce, infrastructure, banking, health and education, among others.

The forum featured over 35 outstanding speakers and 200 international guests from fifteen countries and was officially inaugurated by the Chilean Government’s Minister of Economy, Development and Tourism José Ramón Valente Vias. Important issues such as the culture of innovation and gender inclusion, IoT, digital transformation, artificial intelligence, applied robotics, cybersecurity, big data, cloud computing, productivity and digital economy, digital banking, Fintech, Blockchain, smart cities and digital government, e-commerce and other topics were discussed.
