Expomin 2018

The 15th International Expomin 2018 Convention was hosted in Santiago and its theme was “Innovation for mining development” . The second-largest mining industry fair in the world was held 23-27 April 2018 at Espacio Riesco, Santiago, Chile.

Over 1,300 supplier companies attended the event, including over 700 foreign companies, representing sectors such as technology, innovation, services, automation, material handling equipment, energy efficiency technologies and the development of hybrid vehicles for underground mining drilling, together with 110 speakers, making EXPOMIN 2018 a space where the main challenges for the mining sector and the way innovation can contribute to industry growth were analyzed.

Technological and commercial interchange at this international convention required the support of contact interpreters in different languages at stands and meetings to enable communication between counterparts. MundoChile played an essential role at the fair, providing interpreters for the Canadian and US pavilions.
